Maprom Engineering is "amongst others" world wide known for its expertise on waterlubricated propellershaft systems. These systems make a contribute to a better environment, because no oil or grease is used. Our waterlubricated propellershaft systems equipped with Johnson Cutless® rubber bearings and the Maprom GS-seal are used in inlandships as well as on sea going vessels. The Dutch navy uses Johnson Cutless® waterlubricated bearings supplied by Maprom on it's minesweepers of the "Alkmaar"-type and on its supply vessel the "H.M.S. Amsterdam". The navy's from Denmark, Spain and France are also using Johnson Cutless® bearings and Maprom GS-seals on their vessels.
