The Stork group of the Netherlands is a fast-growing industrial company composed of 69 customer-oriented operating companies. With 20,000 employees, the Stork group booked world-wide a turnover of EURO 2,253 million in 1998. Stork is publicly owned and the stock is quoted on the exchanges of Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Zurich and Geneva. In July 1996, Stork has acquired the Fokker Aviation Group (maintenance of Fokker Aircraft round the world, subsystems and components for the military and civil aircraft industry).
