Nedap designs and produces hi-tech products. The product group Detection Systems makes labels which can be read at a distance without batteries by an electromachnetic field. The systems are used for anti-theft tags, access control, goods identification and livestock management. The product group Specials makes electronic feed controls and electronic voting machines. Nedap produces in both mass production and small runs. Areas of application Nedap's technologies are: biometrics, observation and intruder alarms, access control, automatic vehicle identification, etc.
