INNOVATEXT Textile Engineering and Testing Institute - founded in 1949 - is the central R& and testing basis of the Hungarian T/C industry. Major spheres of activity of the Institute are the laboratory quality control tests in the accredited laboratory for the Hungarian companies and the suppliers of famous store chains, i.e. Karstadt-Quelle, IKEA, C&A. Over the past few years INNOVATEXT has participated in a number of international R&D projects. Our Institute is a member of several international associations such as GEDRT, ÖKO-TEX, TEXTRANET. In addition to a wide variety of tests, INNOVATEXT as a notified body is engaged in the testing and certification of protective clothes and gloves in its accredited laboratory. As a member of the Hohenstein Institutes Group, INNOVATEXT carries out this task in cooperation with other European institutes. Our institute is an authorized testing laboratory for textile by Military Aviation Authority of the Ministry of Defence.
