IDS STRUCTURE AND MAIN AIMS
IDS is an independent system engineering company of about 300 people (about 80percent with degrees in electronic and aerospace engineering) that which provides, since 1980, high technology services and integrated system solutions. The company is structured into the following business and research areas:
Naval Division, Aeronautical Division, Georadar Division, Aeronavigation Division, Space Laboratory, Electromagnetic Laboratory, Radar & Signature Laboratory, System & Simulation Laboratory, Information Technology Laboratory.
IDS provides both services and products.
Antenna design; Planar and conformal array design; Reflectarray design; Antenna Farm analyses (pattern distortion and coupling) on spacecrafts; EMC/EMI analyses (radiated/ conducted); Passive InterModulation Product (PIMP) analyses; LEO, MEO and GEO deep/surface charging and ESD analyses; GPS multipath mitigation for spacecraft attitude control and limb souding (radio occultation) applications; mModelling and analysis of SAR systems;. Processing for automatic recognition from SAR images; propagation models for land mobile satellite radio channel in urban environments.

ADF-EMS (Antenna Design Framework / ElectroMagnetic Satellite), a SW Framework for electromagnetic antenna design and analyses (from stand-alone to S/C installed) with combined modelling methods and fully engineering cycle support.
