The German Aerospace Centre DLR incorporates a multitude of technological institutes in Berlin, Bonn, Braunschweig, Goettingen, Cologne, Lampoldshausen, Oberpfaffenhofen and Stuttgart in Germany. It focuses on research on advanced subjects in aviation, space, energy and transportation. Its institutes are developing new technologies, conducting scientific studies, testing materials and equipment, mostly in cooperation with the industry and universities as well as various partners in Germany and abroad.
