Defence R&D Canada, an agency within the Canadian Department of National Defence, provides leading edge science and technology (S&T) to the Canadian Forces. Defence R&D Canada provides R&D leadership both nationally and internationally by providing the Canadian Forces with relevant and timely technologies, while at the same time offering attractive collaborative opportunities to other government departments, the private sector, academia and international allies. Defence R&D Canada operates six research centres across Canada, each with a unique combination of expertise and facilities to carry-out world class research and development. It is well placed to offer innovative R&D across a broad spectrum of defence technologies well into the future.
