Fritz Studer AG, based in Thun-Steffisburg, is one of the worldwide largest producers for precision cylindrical grinding machines. Around 18.000 machines are in use. A broad range of external, internal und universal cylindrical grinding machines are developed, manufactured and sold. Product-related services are also marketed (incl. servicing, replacement parts, training etc.), machine beds from Granitan ® (mineral casting) as well as the manufacture of precision parts.
