The Defence Engineering Group (DEG) at University College London (UCL) is a MOD sponsored academic centre of expertise in systems engineering and defence systems acquisition. Research areas include: offshore, subsea and underwater engineering, non-destructive evaluation, naval architecture and submarine engineering, internal combustion fuel systems, robotics and wind energy.
