Advanced Composites Group Ltd (ACG), part of the Composites Division of Umeco plc, manufactures a range of advanced prepreg systems using a unique combination of high performance resins and fibres. Woven and stitched fabrics and unidirectional tape formats are pre-impregnated with epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide or phenolic resins to produce technologically advanced carbon and glass fibre reinforced (CFRP and GFRP) prepregs that meet the exacting requirements of a diverse range of industries, ranging from defence, aerospace (civil and military), motorsport (luxury sports cars, rally cars and Formula One), marine, automotive, green (sustainable – wave, tidal and wind) energy, sports and leisure, medical, general industrial, mass transit and construction.
